Who said you couldn’t have it?

You are not out of order because you expect good things from God. If you are living in obedience to His will…you are actually entitled to His promises. But your heart must be clean…you cannot go before God asking, if you are holding something against someone.  Mark 11:24 ~ I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are pray…ing, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”
You can go boldly to Him and say Lord I need this and help me with that…and then EXPECT it. As a Child of God, the promises He has made to you are many…and they are there for you to take.  Man has the tendancy to lie…but God is not a man that He should lie.  So you can BELIEVE that the promises are for you and RECEIVE them as yours. Be patient when waiting for your answer. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise to you. He knows when you need it, at what right time He should send it to you. Be confident in knowing that God knows you better than you know yourself and that His timing is perfect.
Are you absolutely sure you are prepared and ready for what you are praying about?
Is the prayer something God will say , yes to?
Are there still some things in you that have to be let go before you can receive your promise?
Trust God…but go before Him boldly and ask for what you need.

Learning how God desires us to live on this earth really makes a difference in your life choices.

I found so many scriptures that referred to this so I listed a few. I encourage you to read more than just the scripture…read a little before it and after it to see the context of it.

Learning how God desires us to live on this earth really makes a difference in your life choices.

2 Peter 1:4 ~ God made great and marvelous promises, so that his nature would become part of us. Then we could escape our evil desires and the corrupt influences of this world.
Philippians 4:19 ~ And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 1:20 for it is he who is the “Yes” to all of God’s promises. This is why through Jesus Christ our “Amen” is said to the glory of God. (The ‘Amen’ in our prayer expresses our confidence in God’s love, faithfulness and certainty of His promises)
2 Corinthians 7:1 ~ My friends, God has made us these promises. So we should stay away from everything that keeps our bodies and spirits from being clean. We should honor God and try to be completely like him.
2 Peter 3:9 ~ The Lord isn’t slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost.

Be Blessed
